Holy Trinity and S. Silas PIP / School Events SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Holy Trinity and S. Silas PIP/School Events SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Welcome back parents and children to an exciting year of events fundraising.
PIP (Parents in Partnership) are simply parents of children at Holy Trinity working together to help raise essential funds for the school, to enable your child to benefit from an enriched school life.

Anyone can help and anyone can be a part of PIP, everyone is welcome.

PIP is part of the school, and part of the community. We are working together to ensure your children don’t just get the best education from a wonderful school, but giving all children the opportunity to enjoy trips and participate in all events.
Last year we raised money to fund theatre trips for all the years, as well as additional funding for other trips. This included paying for coaches to enable the children to visit educational places further afield.
The Year 6 summer trip has a substantial contribution made by PIP to reduce costs to parents.

This year, as well as raising money for school trips - we have an exciting new project to raise funds for.

To find out more and how you can help please come to the next PIP meeting:

Cake Sale Next Week!

Yes, next week Thursday (4th October) there is the first of this term's Cake Sales, on this occasion hosted by Year Two. Please bake like mad for it and bring your creations in; and if you aren't a keen cake maker, Morrisons have a nice range of cakes that we can always resell to profit the school!

And remember to bring plenty of change at 3:15pm, as well as an extra pair of hands to carry the plates of cakes that will be added to your usual load of: school bag, musical instrument, letter home, artwork, homework, your keys and your mobile phone (which will of course be ringing!)

Enjoy!!

The Christmas Fair; Tea Towels and Calendars

The Christmas Fair on Saturday was a great success
and we hope you had lots of fun

Thank you to all of you for supporting the event
and a big thank-you to all the parents
who worked so hard to pull the event off.

ON SALE NOW
It’s Not Too Late to buy your Stocking Fillers
Tea Towels (£4 each or 3 for £10)
Aprons £10 Each
Calendars (£4 each or 3 for £10)

You may not realise that each child has made a self-portrait line drawing in class. P.I.P. reproduces these drawings which form the main design of our yearly calendars and tea-towels, meaning each child is included in these group products. Besides this individual touch, the yearly calendar includes all handy term, holiday and inset dates up to next January, plus a bit of space for adding your own important days…..

As with all PIP events, all profits go directly to every child, and help us support the school's activities. Please help us by considering which of your relatives and friends would love the gift of seeing your child's friends and classmates each time they look up at a date, or dry their hands in the kitchen! And the PiP Aprons are in unisex black.

That’s Christmas Sorted !
