Quiz Night, Thursday 8th March

Thursday 8th March is the date for the next PiP organised Quiz Night in the Holy Trinity Church hall. Those of you who came to the last one will remember what a geat night it was. Father Graham was quizmaster last year, which was really cool. Some of the teaching staff turned up, too, and lots of wine was consumed - not just by them!

SO watch this space for more details!

THE QUIZ NIGHT WAS LOTS OF FUN

Thank you to all the parents and staff who turned up to support the Quiz Night, from which we made just over £200. We had over 60 people and it was a really fun evening with delicious home made food cooked by Miss Nasima. Teams were picked out of a hat so we also all got the chance to meet parents from other years.

Congratulations to the winners and losers; a special thank you to reception mum Tessa for organising the evening; and an extra special thank you to Father Graeme for being such a charming Quizmaster and for keeping control of those who'd had a few too many - hard questions, I mean!

QUIZ NIGHT: HOW IT WORKS

The aim is to mix up the parent year groups a little.
So don’t worry if you come alone, don’t know anyone or think you’re rubbish at general knowledge. Random teams will be drawn from a hat on the night, with couples kept together. Venue is the school hall.

Expect questions on the usual subjects, some more unusual subjects… plus a special HTSS trivia section.

After a free glass of wine or beer, teams will be called, you’ll be served a delicious home cooked curry and then Father Graeme will step up to the mike.

Bring a bottle for your table.
