MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS OUT THIS THURSDAY 27TH!

CAKE SALE

Please bring in your homemade or shop bought cakes either before school (and leave in the art room) or just bring in at the end of the day. We will be selling tea and coffee too. As always, if we have enough cakes we will continue to sell on Friday too.

FARMER'S CHOICE - DELICIOUS SEASONAL AND ORGANIC FRUIT AND VEG - LAUNCH THIS THURSDAY TOO

Hopefully, you all received a leaflet about the scheme. You order your seasonal and affordable organic fruit and veg through PiP and the school keeps 25% of the sales. The scheme is really simple and there is no weekly obligation so you can dip in and out. We will be sampling some of the delicious produce on offer and will be available to talk you through how it works.

Please come along and give it a try!

Save Camden Childcare!

Funding for all of the after-school and holiday play-schemes in Camden is seriously under threat due to local government cuts. A borough-wide campaign is underway urging Camden Council to reconsider their proposals and the impact this decision will have on the children and families in Camden. The result will simply be that many play-schemes will have to close, which will have a huge impact for all families.

Please sign up to the campaign and encourage all your online contacts to do the same. As we hear more we will keep you informed. Also, please talk to other parents you know, and if their school is not involved, then please encourage them to get involved:

Keep calm and carry on supporting PiP!

Dear Parents, Carers and Children

Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We raised a record breaking £2800 at the Christmas Fair in addition to the money raised for Christmas Cards and Tea towels and Bags. Thank-you to everyone for supporting PiP events and initiatives.

As you would imagine, PiP have lots of exciting events planned. See our diary below. First dates for your diary are our ever popular Cake Sales on the Thurs 27th Jan (hosted by Year 4) and a Valentine Cake Sale on Thurs 17th Feb (Hosted by Reception).

For it's third year, a fantastic Bingo evening is been planned and new this term will be a Family Quiz night. Both events promise to be lots of fun - dates to be confirmed but keep logged on for all updates but leaflets in children's bags also.

We are very exciting to announce that we have joined a fundraising scheme working with the organic fruit and veg suppliers Abel and Cole. The prices are very reasonable and you can drop in and out of the scheme as you wish, no obligation. Watch out for details of the launch coming soon where you can see how the scheme works and ask any questions. Delivery is to the school and you simply pay for your order upfront and collect your delivery from school on the same day every week. The great news is that 25% of what you pay goes to the school and no waiting in for deliveries.

Toward the end of term we are holding a Community Auction. Your reps will speak to you about this and more info will of course follow. We have so many skilled and talented parents and children who could offer a service or product that could be bid for at an auction. For example, you might offer to cook a huge chocolate cake, you might know the Arsenal football team and ask them to sign a shirt! you might be able to make a delicious Indian meal, you might be able to walk someone's dog for a week, you might be able to clean a car, you might be able to devise a fitness routine to shed the Christmas pounds, you might love cleaning and offer a spring clean, you might offer to babysit.... the list of possibilities is endless.

We will hold an evening auction where you can bid for the fantastic Lots on offer. more to follow.

PiP is always looking for support so come along and get involved, come to one of our meetings or speak to your rep about how you can help.
