Cake Sale Next Week!

Yes, next week Thursday (4th October) there is the first of this term's Cake Sales, on this occasion hosted by Year Two. Please bake like mad for it and bring your creations in; and if you aren't a keen cake maker, Morrisons have a nice range of cakes that we can always resell to profit the school!

And remember to bring plenty of change at 3:15pm, as well as an extra pair of hands to carry the plates of cakes that will be added to your usual load of: school bag, musical instrument, letter home, artwork, homework, your keys and your mobile phone (which will of course be ringing!)

Tomorrow, Thursday 19th May, is the deadline for handing in your Balloon Race Entry forms and Entry Fee. PiP will be in the playground at the end of the day to collect

Next week, PiP will be holding an Easter Cake Sale on Thursday 7th hosted by Year 2. As always please bring in cakes on the day. You can deliver your cakes before school (then leave in the art room), or just bring along at the end of the day.

As you will have seen from today's school newsletter also on Thursday we have the annual Easter Bonnet competition. Children are encouraged to make and bring in a hat, or they will have the opportunity to make one in school. Parents/carers are welcome at 2.30pm to see the parade in the playground.

Thank-you! What a talented bunch of bakers you are. Look at the beautiful cakes that were on sale today. The Cake Sale continues yesterday! - If you don't have time to bake then we'd appreciate any bought contributions also to boost our fundraising efforts. If you could bring something in at the end of the day that would be ideal.

FARMER'S CHOICE - DELICIOUS SEASONAL AND ORGANIC FRUIT AND VEG - LAUNCH THIS THURSDAY TOO

Hopefully, you all received a leaflet about the scheme. You order your seasonal and affordable organic fruit and veg through PiP and the school keeps 25% of the sales. The scheme is really simple and there is no weekly obligation so you can dip in and out. We will be sampling some of the delicious produce on offer and will be available to talk you through how it works.
